Our Events
IETE MITS has hosted a series of impactful events including technical workshops, expert talks, and coding competitions, aimed at enhancing practical skills and industry exposure. Each event is designed to inspire innovation, encourage collaboration, and foster technical excellence among students.

Celsius
The IETE Students’ Forum MITS organized Celsius 1.0: Let the temperature rise!, a two-day offline tech fest held on 17-18 February 2024, with 209 participants. The event featured technical, recreational, and sports activities, including seminars, coding challenges, ideathons, and esports, offering students a platform to showcase talents and enhance skills

Codathon
The IETE STUDENTS FORUM MITS organized a phenomenal coding contest, Codathon 2.0. The motive of this event was to encourage the upcoming coders in the line of their interest. It was an inter-college event. The contest was conducted on the Coding Ninja platform with a price poll of upto ₹15,000. IETE expresses its gratitude and owes to the Director of MITS Dr. R.K. Pandit, Dr. P.K.Singhal (IETE chairman) and Dr. Vandana Vikas Thakre (faculty coordinator, IETE) for their constant support and guidance.

Defence Seminar
Defence Seminar – An insightful session on advancements in defense technologies and their real-world applications, conducted under Enigma with the mentorship of Lt. Colonel Jitender Singh Bhadauria.

E Sport Showdown
E-Sport was organized by the IETE Students Forum, MITS, on 16th February 2024 during the CELSIUS tech fest. With 70 participants across 13 teams, the event celebrated gaming culture, fostering competition, teamwork, and individual skill. Conducted in elimination rounds, it created an exhilarating blend of technology, sportsmanship, and community engagement.

Career Crossroad
Career Crossroad was an insightful session organized by the IETE Students’ Forum, MITS Gwalior, on 17th February 2024 during CELSIUS. Led by Akshita Dixit and Anushka Bhargav, it offered 209 participants valuable guidance on placement preparation, career opportunities, and industry trends, fostering professional growth and academic excellence in engineering.coding skills, incorporating advanced questions to assess problem-solving and algorithmic thinking abilities.

DSA Voyage
DSA Voyage was a seminar organized by the IETE Students’ Chapter, MITS Gwalior, on 18th February 2024 during CELSIUS. With 242 participants, the session featured Mr. Prince Singh, who provided a comprehensive roadmap for mastering Data Structures and Algorithms (DSA), empowering students with essential skills for excelling in computer science and engineering.

Interview Insights
The IETE Students Chapter at MITS Gwalior organized "Interview Insight" on February 18, 2024, featuring Divij Sir. He shared interview experiences from Goldman Sachs, Microsoft, and GoDaddy, offering valuable tips on self-presentation and navigating life experiences, providing students with guidance for successful career pursuits.

Resume Building
The IETE Student Forum MITS organized a Resume Building Workshop on 17th February 2024, with 215 participants. Led by HR professional Anushka Bhargava from KPMG, the session focused on creating standout resumes, highlighting career goals, skills, and job descriptions. It provided valuable insights and practical tips for effective resume building.

Build Your Own GPT
The IETE Student Forum at MITS Gwalior successfully conducted "Unleash the Power of AI: Build Your Own GPT," a two-day workshop focused on AI, NLP, and ML. Led by experts Mayank Raghuwanshi and Lavinsh Rathor, it covered web development, Python, machine learning, and GPT model creation, culminating in a certificate ceremony.

Let’s C@nnect
The IETE Students’ Forum MITS presents “Let’s C@nnect” on 14th December 2024 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM (Online). Join us for an engaging seminar with Mr. Aman Kabra, a LinkedIn expert and alumnus of ISB and BITS Pilani, who will provide valuable insights to enhance your LinkedIn presence and career prospects. The seminar is priced at ₹19 per participant.

Enigma
Enigma, organized by the IETE Students’ Forum and ISTE Students’ Chapter, MITS, was a three-day event held from 07–09 February 2025. It featured seminars on emerging tech, defense, cybersecurity, GATE prep, and digital marketing led by expert mentors. Interactive events like the Escape Room, BGMI LAN Tournament, Book Carnival, and creative workshops fostered learning, collaboration, and fun, making Enigma a vibrant blend of knowledge and innovation.
